As a Java Developer you become part of a new Digital team to be formed in our Hungarian office.

You report to the Development Lead. The team is featured with highly skilled product owners, technical leads, architects, QA engineers, front- and back-end Developers with a strong client-oriented mindset, and always looking for new ways to improve their work.

Within this team a new position for a Developer is created with not only excellent technical skills, but also with the ability to co-drive team results, good communication and collaboration skills and who is going to be responsible – together with his/her team - for challenging technology in various business domains (e.g. Trading, contracting, billing, payments, CRM and reporting) in an Agile / Scrum method. 

We prefer to build our solutions on top of the latest cloud technologies, using the most state-of-the-art approaches and patterns.

You have

  • At least 3 years work experience as a Java developer with experience in (any of) Java 8, Spring framework, REST, JSON, XML, Web Services, Micro Services Architecture, React, Angular, JavaScript, SQL and NOSQL databases, RabbitMQ, Docker...
  • The conviction that clean code is paramount in building maintainable software.
  • Hands-on experience in team-based development approaches (agile/scrum experience is a plus)
  • Business sense: you balance technical perfection with business needs and priority. Preferably you have experience in an energy or utility environment
  • Good communication and team skills both at a technical and business level
  • A Master or bachelor’s degree
