We search

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join our Development department as a hands-on Development Team Leader, leading a team of highly skilled developers and delivering value adding IT Solutions across a variety of products and technologies to our customers.

We are looking for an experienced team player to manage and evolve our development teams. You will work closely together with the CTO and the development teams to shape the current and future platforms/solutions of our customers.

Your main tasks:

  • Manage the developers and development teams in a growing organization;
  • Actively recruit for new team members and ensure new hires have a soft landing within the company;
  • Sustain the open and constructive team culture, where everyone is eager to improve, learn and help others;
  • Manage team and personal performance by providing constructive feedback and defining development plans;
  • Provide technical leadership by keeping up to date and implementing best practices;
  • Support development teams with development tasks;
  • Constantly track the quality of our delivered solutions and manage (code) quality and development process improvements;

You Have

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience with Software development within a Java Web / Enterprise environment and large software projects;
  • Pragmatic and goal-oriented attitude;
  • Ability to lead multiple (international) agile development teams of 4-6 persons
  • Desire to mentor, motivate and inspire, ability to improve the skills of the entire team;
  • Strong programming and analytical skills, can work closely with engineers on software design and problem solving;
  • Strong (project) management skills, can handle multiple concurrent projects without problems;
  • Good communication skills, both verbally and written;
  • a natural motivation to keep technical skills up to date by contributing to open source events, going to conferences / meetups or by reading;
